An eyebrow lift is usually performed on an outpatient basis and with local anesthesia. There are various methods to perform the operation. One option is to make a short incision above the eyebrow and remove a strip of skin.

The remaining edges are sutured without tension. For thicker eyebrows, which are common in men, hidden scars in the eyebrows can occur. Men often have pronounced transverse forehead wrinkles, where an incision can also be made inconspicuously. Another way to do this is to make an incision at the hairline on the scalp and lift the outer eyebrow upwards.

Aftercare

After the operation, the wound should be cooled to minimize bruising and swelling. In addition, you should lie in bed with your upper body slightly elevated for the first few days.
