Laser treatment with LaseMD
Laser treatment with LaseMD is an innovative procedure used for skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, and pigment treatment, among other applications. Stressed, tired skin, damaged by environmental influences, regains its elasticity, and wrinkles and bothersome pigmentations disappear. Laser treatment with LaseMD prepares the skin to absorb so-called cosmeceuticals – highly effective substances for skin regeneration – which can then unfold their effectiveness in deeper skin layers and in the connective tissue. The results of the LaseMD laser are sustainable and last for a longer period.
In my Berlin practice for plastic and aesthetic surgery, I perform laser applications with the LaseMD laser using state-of-the-art laser technology and particularly high-quality cosmeceuticals. Through the treatment, you will look particularly fresh and youthful. You gain in beauty - and thus also in positive radiance and quality of life.

Before using the laser, the skin of your face and, if applicable, other body areas to be treated (neck, décolleté) is cleansed and treated with a mild disinfectant. If you wish, we then apply a cream for local anesthesia. The laser treatment is largely painless, but you may feel a slight burning sensation in addition to a feeling of warmth. Subsequently, the laser is guided over the individual skin areas in several passes - the repeated lasering serves to intensify the effect of the cosmeceuticals used. After the laser treatment, the selected cosmeceutical or a combination of different active ingredients is applied. We prepare corresponding mixtures directly before the treatment in our practice. Finally, we apply a soothing care cream. We also provide you with the respective cosmeceutical product for home use. Please apply it twice a day until it is used up - this will enhance the effect of the treatment. A skin treatment with the LaseMD laser takes about 45 minutes. You are immediately able to socialize and work without restrictions. The results of the treatment are visible after a few days. In the weeks following the application, your skin will regenerate very sustainably and from within.
There are no risks associated with a skin treatment using the Thulium laser LaseMD. Systemic - whole-body related - side effects play no role. The same applies to allergic reactions to the cosmeceuticals, which are exclusively natural active ingredients suitable even for very sensitive skin. For maximum safety, however, any possible allergic predispositions on your part will be discussed in the preliminary consultation and can be taken into account when selecting the serum. Immediately after the laser treatment, the treated skin may be slightly irritated and red. In rare cases, slight swelling occurs, which usually disappears quickly. If necessary, please speak to us about it - we will recommend what you can do to alleviate such discomfort.
No special aftercare is required. On the day of treatment, you should avoid sports, sauna, and solarium. During the treatment phase and for four weeks thereafter, you should avoid intense sunbathing and protect the treated skin areas from the effects of UV radiation during solarium visits.
Radiant, rejuvenated skin through laser application with LaseMD and cosmeceuticals
Skin treatment with the LaseMD laser is an innovative and highly effective treatment method to restore freshness and elasticity to stressed, tired skin. A non-ablative Thulium laser creates precise microchannels in the skin in a controlled manner. Highly developed cosmeceuticals are introduced into these channels to stimulate the skin's self-healing power from within.
What is a laser?
The term laser refers to an amplified and very high-energy light beam with a defined wavelength, whose effect is based on the conversion of light into heat energy. Due to its specific wavelength, a laser works selectively, so that the laser beam only penetrates the tissue structures to be treated, without damaging the surrounding skin. Different laser procedures are used in medicine and for cosmetic treatments. Cosmetic laser applications usually involve gently removing wrinkles, disturbing skin changes, but also tattoos or permanent make-up. LaseMD differs from conventional laser treatments by its non-ablative approach - the upper skin layer is not removed with this specific laser application. The procedure is therefore referred to as non-ablative.
For which aesthetic treatments is LaseMD suitable?
Aesthetic applications of LaseMD include:
- Skin rejuvenation (Skin Rejuvenation) on the face, neck, and décolleté
- Skin tightening- Wrinkle treatment- Anti-aging
- Pigment treatment (attenuation/removal of melasma and chloasma. Melasma are pigment deposits in sun-exposed skin areas, forming patchy, dark areas. Chloasma is hyperpigmentation of the skin triggered by hormones, particularly estrogens - chloasma occurs particularly frequently during pregnancy and menopause.)
- Treatment of skin damage from sunbathing and solarium
- Scar treatment and acne therapy

What are cosmeceuticals?
Cosmeceuticals are biologically active, highly concentrated active ingredients. Unlike conventional cosmetics, they are able to overcome the skin barrier and exert a deep effect on the skin. The combination with the Thulium laser LaseMD enhances and optimizes this property of cosmeceuticals.
The following cosmeceuticals are used for laser treatment with LaseMD in my practice:
- Vitamin C (VC ampoule)
- Vitamin C is one of the strongest natural antioxidants. It limits the formation of free radicals and supports the new formation of collagen. This supports skin rejuvenation. Vitamin C is also effective in regenerating skin damaged by light exposure
- Vitamin A - Retinol, Retinoic acid (VA ampoule)Retinol also serves skin rejuvenation and promotes skin renewal. It also shows high effectiveness in the treatment of acne
- Tranexamic acid (TA ampoule)Tranexamic acid is used for pigment treatment. This active ingredient is also well suited for general skin brightening
- Resveratrol (RS ampoule)Resveratrol (tartaric acid) is an anti-aging active ingredient. For laser treatment with LaseMD, it is used in a highly concentrated form - the amount in an RS ampoule corresponds to the tartaric acid content of 500 bottles of wine. Resveratrol supports the skin's regenerative capacity and is therefore important for both skin rejuvenation and skin tightening. The active ingredient has a preventive effect against skin cancer in connection with UV rays and the photoaging of the skin.
What results can be achieved with a LaseMD laser treatment?
After a series of treatments with the LaseMD laser and cosmeceuticals, the skin appears significantly younger, more radiant, and firmer. Fine lines are softened or are initially no longer visible after the treatment. The same applies to pigmentations and other light-induced skin changes. Overall, the skin structure is sustainably improved by this laser treatment. Your skin appears firm, fresh, and young.

Frequently Asked Questions
We recommend starting skin rejuvenation and skin regeneration with the LaseMD laser as early as possible. The treatment then develops a preventive effect, so that many skin damages cannot even arise. Early wrinkle formation can also be excellently prevented with the LaseMD laser. If you desire a pigmentation treatment or want LaseMD for acne treatment or scar treatment, you should also start promptly after the appearance of such aesthetic problems.
LaseMD laser treatment on sun-exposed areas - i.e., on the face, neck, and décolleté, or possibly also on the hands - should ideally be scheduled during the less sunny seasons. The treatment increases the skin's sun sensitivity, which can lead to unwanted pigmentations. The months from September to May are ideal for the treatment.
The result of the individual treatment is visible just a few days after the first session. For optimal results, I recommend a series of at least four treatments - however, your individual circumstances and your desired focus of the LaseMD applications are also important here. The individual treatments of a series are performed at two- to four-week intervals.
The result of a skin treatment with the LaseMD laser usually lasts for many months. We recommend repeating the treatment at regular intervals to treat disturbances in skin regeneration early, so that deep wrinkles and visible skin damage cannot even arise.
The treatment will sustainably improve the appearance of your skin. Your skin will become softer and smoother. Wrinkles and pigmentations can completely disappear, at least temporarily, with LaseMD. Since the treatment also regenerates the lower skin layers and connective tissue, your skin will appear significantly younger and firmer after the treatment.
Contraindications against a LaseMD skin treatment are primarily acute infections and skin diseases, some medications, and existing skin lesions. Of course, I will advise you on this - usually, the treatment can be performed at a later time. LaseMD laser treatment should not be performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
