Afterwards, you will receive either local anesthesia or general anesthesia. With local anesthesia, I additionally use a mild sedative, so that you experience the procedure in twilight sleep.
In a Renuvion treatment with liposuction, the excess fat is first removed, then the cannulas for the plasma jet are inserted through the same skin incisions through which the liposuction was previously performed. For skin tightening without liposuction, the so-called tunneling is first required, for which fine cannulas are also used to prepare the tissue from the inside. Afterwards, the actual plasma treatment is performed.
As a rule, skin tightening with J-Plasma-Renuvion is performed on an outpatient basis. For a very extensive treatment area, an inpatient stay for one night may be considered.
